Scientific Trip to Zaytun City
The Architectural Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University-Sulaimani (TIUS) organized a scientific trip to Zaytun City, a residential complex currently under construction. The trip was arranged for second-stage students on November 21st, 2022. The site visit provided students with an invaluable opportunity to observe the construction process and apply their academic knowledge to a real-world context. Project supervisors elucidated the use of various materials and construction techniques, enriching the students’ understanding of the practical aspects of building design and execution. This direct exposure to a live construction environment is an essential component of their educational development, linking classroom theory with industry practice.
