Scientific Trip to Dina City
On November 6th 2022, the Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University – Sulaimani (TIUS) organized a scientific trip to Dina City. The aim of the visit was to introduce the students to the methods of construction of the building and the use of different types of materials during construction.
The trip was supervised by Mr. Ilham Ibrahim and one of the engineers from the project. During the trip different stages of construction of the building were explained including foundation, reinforcing, and finishing. Students have seen different structures that have been built on the project. The project provided safety measurements to all of the participating students. The excursion was attended by fourth and third-grade students from the Civil Engineering Department at TIUS.
