New Approaches for Architecture Design Process and Methods

Wednesday, March 30, 2022, a workshop was organized as a collaboration between the universities of (Sulaymaniyah, Tishk International and Cihan) about new approaches to architecture design process and methods.

At the workshop, some lecturers from all three universities had presented seminars about architecture, design, and the new trends in the designing process worldwide. One of the workshop’s goals was to discuss and provide a glimpse of how to educate architecture students on how to design or start the designing process as this is one of the most important and difficult work for them.

The workshop was attended by many great and honoured lecturers and students, and it consisted of 4 sessions as follows:

1^st Session: “Between Architecture and Design” by Prof. Dr. Amjad Qaradaxy.

2^nd Session: “Design Process” by Mr. Mustafa Mukhlis.

3^rd Session: “Concept: a Storytelling” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nahedth Al-Qaimaqchi.

4^th Session: “Creativity in design process” by Prof. Dr. Hoshyar Qadir Rasul.
