On 10 March 2022, the Tishk International University Sulaimani branch organized an event for celebrating the national Kurdish clothes Day.
This day marks a prestigious day where people in the Kurdistan Region celebrate the history of traditional Kurdish clothing by wearing their customary dresses.
Kurdish clothes vary from a region to another in terms of style and dress. Since the emergence of Kurdish clothing culture, its shape has changed, but it has preserved its national identity and has survived among Kurds to this day.
For that reason, Tishk International University annually celebrates that day by wearing Kurdish clothes by the students, lecturers and its staff as well.
