SULAYMANIYAH, June 8, 2026 – As part of the 2025–2026 Academic Year Sports Tournaments, which commenced in April 2026, the Dean of Students Office at Tishk International University Sulaimani (TIU-S) successfully concluded the university’s FIFA Video Game Tournament, providing students with an exciting platform to showcase their gaming skills, strategic thinking, and sportsmanship.
Following several competitive rounds, the finalists advanced to the championship match, which was held on June 8, 2026, delivering an entertaining and highly competitive performance.
The tournament highlights Tishk International University Sulaimani’s commitment to creating a dynamic campus environment through diverse extracurricular activities while supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education by fostering digital competencies, strategic thinking, and teamwork, and SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being by encouraging balanced recreational and social engagement among students.
