SULAYMANIYAH, December 15, 2025 – Students from the Charity Club, under the supervision of the Dean of Students Office at Tishk International University Sulaimani (TIU-S), participated in a volunteer cleaning campaign in Chamchamal following the flood that affected the city in December 2025.
Approximately 30 student volunteers took part in the initiative, helping clean and restore a government directorate building that had been impacted by the flooding. Their efforts demonstrated a strong sense of social responsibility and solidarity with the local community during a time of need.
The campaign reflects Tishk International University Sulaimani’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), particularly SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities by supporting community recovery efforts, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by encouraging volunteerism and collaboration for the public good.
The Dean of Students Office extends its sincere appreciation to the Charity Club members for their dedication, compassion, and commitment to serving the community through meaningful volunteer initiatives.
