Earthquake Resistant Building Practices and Design Provisions Workshop In collaboration with the ACI Kurdistan Chapter, the Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University-Sulaimani (TIUS) organized a workshop entitled: Earthquake Resistant Building Practices and Design Provisions, held on March 1st, 2023. The workshop featured three presentations from experts in the field. The first presentation was delivered by Dr. Nazim Abdul Nariman, in whcih he discussed the high-rise building resonance and structural stability during earthquakes.
