On Thursday, April 8th, 2021, the Architectural Engineering Department of Tishk International University, have organized a scientific trip for the 2nd year students to both; the “Steel Factory in Tanjaro” and the “Family Mall” under the “Building Construction Technology I” course.
- The Steel Factory in Tanjaro: the trip aimed at helping the students understanding the process of preparing steel structure from row material until it reaches to the construction site and becomes ready to be used as structure of the projects.
- The Family Mall: students have seen how the steel structure could be used in the projects in both, design and solving long spans as well.
The trip was helpful for their above specified course, as well as for their “Architectural Design” course, which is a “School project” in order to consider different structures in their design when practically.
