December 10th, 2020, Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University Sulaimani (TIUS) organized a Symposium under the title (Environmental Impact of Structures).
The symposium was held in the university conference hall and it consisted of two seminar sessions. The first seminar session entitled “Corrosion in Structural Steel and its impact on the structures presented by Mr. Brwa Ahmad. Second seminar session entitled “Dams and their impact on the environment” presented by Mr. Kaywan Othman.
The symposium was attended by academics and civil engineering students in TIUS.
At the end of the symposium questions from the participants were answered by the presenters.
