Iftar event for students, staff and their families students
On May 21, 2023, in observance of the holy month of Ramadan, the Dean of Students at Tishik International University of Sulaymaniyah coordinated a sequence of iftars. These gatherings united staff, their families, and students, reinforcing the bonds of the university community. The objective was to encourage a sense of unity, mutual respect, and rapport among the diverse constituents of the university. To ensure a seamless and comfortable experience for all attendees, the Dean’s Office executed detailed planning and coordination. Three iftar events were held.
The initial iftar was organized for over 40 staff members, accommodating 70 of their family members in a convivial assembly. The subsequent iftar was specifically for 200 students, featuring an buffet of traditional dishes representative of various cultures. Through these efforts, the Dean’s Office ensured that all participants enjoyed a comprehensive and culturally rich dining experience.
