ITEP marks a pivotal occasion in the university’s academic calendar, in which students from all departments showcase their projects and are assessed by a panel of judges accordingly. The aim is to recognize and honour outstanding projects in various categories. Given the significance of ITEP, the university welcomes numerous guests, including the students’ families, friends, and academicians from diverse disciplines. On this day, May 11th, 2023, the Dean of Students at Tishk International University and the Charity Club also hosted a food fundraising festival.

The Charity Club’s food festival offered lunch to all attendees, with the proceeds designated to support the needs of underprivileged families and orphaned children. In addition to the food offerings, space was allocated for local entrepreneurs to display their products and services, such as handcrafts, henna designs, accessories, and children’s clothing. The food festival included a variety of main dishes, traditional Kurdish food, salads and appetisers, desserts, fresh fruit and juices, ice cream and cold and hot beverages. This inclusion not only contributed to the charitable cause but also bolstered these small businesses, encouraging them to expand and flourish.
