A Seminar on Legal Translation and Being a Legal Translator
The Department of English Language Teaching at Tishk International University (TIUS) held a seminar on Legal Translation and How to Become a Legal Translator on February 28th, 2023. The seminar was conducted by a legal translator Saryas Mohammed Saeed, who has extensive experience in the field of legal translation. He discussed the various aspects of legal translation, such as the importance of accuracy and precision when translating legal documents, the need for an understanding of both the source and target language, and the challenges that come with translating legal documents.
