3rd Grade Architecture Department Students’ Scientific Trip to Various Mosques
On February 18th, 2023, the Architectural Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIUS) organized scientific site visits to various mosques in the city. The trip was organized for third-stage students, as they have the Islamic Center Project in the spring semester, to closely demonstrate the details of the mosques’ design, space organization, and religious meanings in mosque buildings. The students visited the proposed site of their project: the Islamic Center. This site has been chosen and will be analysed in terms of sun direction, topography, contextual considerations, and accessibility concerns.
