Social Project for High School Students

A social project for high school students was organized by Dr. Hariem Abdullah from the University of Sulaymaniyah and Dr. Taylan Budur from Tishk International University-Sulaimani (TIUS).

The initiative aimed at motivating students to consider higher education as a viable and valuable path for their future. Dr. Hariem and Dr. Taylan facilitated a seminar at Zhilan High School in the Haledin Province of Sulaymaniyah City, designed to inspire and inform students about the opportunities that await in tertiary education.

The seminar, which occurred on Thursday, September 29th, provided an interactive platform for the students of Zhilan High School. It served as a bridge between the aspirations of the students and the possibilities that higher education can offer. Dr. Hariem and Dr. Taylan engaged with the students, sharing insights and experiences that highlighted the importance of pursuing further academic achievements.

At the end of the session, an open forum was held where students were given the opportunity to raise questions. This Q&A session allowed students to delve deeper into their concerns and curiosities about higher education, with Dr. Hariem and Dr. Taylan offering their expertise and guidance in response.

Through this program, the organizers aimed to not only enlighten students about the practical aspects of university life but also to spark a drive within them to aim for continued educational growth.
