SULAYMANIYAH, May 2026 – Supported by the Dean of Students Office at Tishk International University Sulaimani (TIU-S), the Art Club successfully concluded a 12-week Ceramic Course, providing students with a creative platform to develop their artistic talents and practical craftsmanship.

The course commenced in November 2025 and continued until May 2026, with weekly sessions designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals and advanced techniques of ceramic art. Throughout the program, students explored clay modeling, shaping, carving, glazing, and finishing techniques while creating their own unique ceramic works.

The course was delivered by Ms. Sozi, a highly proficient ceramic arts instructor in Sulaimani, whose expertise and guidance enabled participants to enhance their creativity, technical skills, and appreciation for the visual arts.

The initiative reflects Tishk International University Sulaimani’s commitment to enriching student life through extracurricular activities while supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education by promoting lifelong learning and creative skill development, and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities by preserving and encouraging artistic and cultural expression.

The Dean of Students Office extends its sincere appreciation to Ms. Sozi for her valuable contribution and congratulates all participating students for their dedication and successful completion of the ceramic course.
