Sulaimani General Construction Laboratory Site Visit

On May 22nd, 2023, the Civil Engineering Department of Tishk International University (TIUS) coordinated a site visit to the Sulaimani General Construction Laboratory (SGCL). The educational trip, supervised by Mr. Ilham Ibrahim, was attended by 3rd and 4th grade students from the Civil Engineering Department at TIUS, and aimed to elucidate the quality control measures employed for asphalt products utilized in the roadways of Sulaimani and its adjacent areas, with particular emphasis on the Marshal Mix Design procedures for hot mix asphalt concrete.
