The Business and Management Department of TIU-Sulaymaniyah, consisting of Dr. Taylan Budur, Dr. Ahmed Demir, and Dr. Najih Samin, paid a visit to the University of Halabjah on March 3, 2022. The purpose of the trip was to strengthen collaboration among the business departments. Dr. Sirwan Hamid, Dean of the Law College, and Mr. Ako Mohammad Tawfiq, Head of the International Commerce Department. They later paid for a brief visit to Prof. Dr. Mahabad Kamel Abdullah, President of Halabja University. The president greeted them warmly and stated her hopes for future collaborations. [...]

Business and management students from TIU-Slemany visited Mass Company on March 3, 2022. Students in the third and fourth grades, under the supervision of Dr. Harem visited the Mass Industry Company for iron and steel. The aim of the trip was to learn about the management of the company, controlling processes, the importance of cost in production, and investment processes in the industry.

On 02 March 2022, Computer Institute of Rania paid a visit to TIU Sulaimani campus. They were welcomed cordially by the University staff. The aim of the event was to let the students visit TIU, and become acquainted with campus life. First, the event started with presenting a seminar by Ms. Yusra Mohammed, lecturer at IT department about the university achievements like those international certificates and ISO certificates that are awarded to the University in previous and recent years. The 5th-grade Architecture students’ site trip to Bashur city & Zaytun city On March 3, 2022, students of 5th grade of Architectural Engineering, Tishk International University-Sulaimani, visited two under-construction projects, Bashur and Zaytun cities in Sulaimani. The visit was arranged for the ‘Project Management’ course. The aim was to familiarize students with how construction projects are constructed and managed from start to finish in the region and compared to the latest project management methods the course aims to fulfil. On Tuesday, March 1st  2022 Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University Sulaimani (TIUS) organized a scientific trip to Garden City. The aim of the visit was to introduce the students to different construction practices, stages, and materials that are used for different types of buildings and at different stages of construction.  The trip was supervised by Mr. Shallaw Abdulla and site supervisors from the project. Four Tishk International University-Suliamani alumni (Saya Hikmat, Ashkan Azad, Binayie Rahim and Lawen Abdalqadir) from the Department of Architectural Engineering published a scientific article entitled ‘An Inquiry About the Roles and Duties of Architects in the Public Sector: Sulaimani Governorate as the Study Field’ in the ‘Journal of Studies in Science and Engineering’, which is indexed by Crossref, Google scjholar and with DOI. The article investigated the subject of professional practice and the role of architects in Iraqi Kurdistan region, specifically in Sulaimani.
