In continuation of scientific activities, Slemani International Primary School – 1 organized a seminar on Tuesday, November 26, 2025, entitled “Effects of Technology and AI on Families and Society” The seminar was presented by Assist. Prof. Dr. Aso Mohammed Aladdin from the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Computer Engineering and IT, and targeted lecturers and parents of students at Slemani International Primary School – 1.
The seminar aimed to help parents understand how technology and AI influence family routines, highlight both the benefits and challenges of AI for children and family interactions, and raise awareness about healthy and balanced technology use at home. It also provided guidance on supporting children in safely adapting to AI and digital tools, while encouraging positive communication and stronger family connections in the digital age.
The event concluded with a productive exchange of ideas among participants, fostering discussions on practical strategies for promoting the safe, balanced, and responsible use of technology within the family environment.
