| The Departments of Computer Engineering and Information Technology at Tishk International University – Sulaimani organized a specialized training course titled “Scholarly Publishing and Career Progression: A Strategic Guideline” from 23 to 30 November.
The training course was designed exclusively for academic staff and aimed at enhancing research capabilities, scholarly publishing practices, and career progression strategies. The sessions covered a range of important topics, including how to become a successful researcher, academic profiling and journal evaluation, scientific and legal guidelines for academic title promotion, research enhancement using artificial intelligence tools, data analysis using SPSS, and reference management using Mendeley. Participants actively engaged in hands-on activities and discussions to strengthen their research and publication skills. Academic staff members from Tishk International University participated in the training. Through interactive lectures and applied exercises, participants gained valuable knowledge and practical tools to support high-quality research output and academic career development.
