Assistant Professor Dr. Aso Mohammed Aladdin from the Department of Computer Engineering at Tishk International University – Sulaimani participated as a member of a Master’s thesis defense (Viva) committee on 29 January 2026 at the University of Sulaimani, College of Commerce, Department of Information Technology.
The defended thesis was entitled “Web Browser Address Bar Spoofing: Vulnerabilities, Techniques, and Hunting Bugs in the Wild”, presented by the researcher “Renua Hiwa Ismael”. The thesis addressed critical challenges in the field of web security, focusing on browser-based attack techniques, address bar spoofing vulnerabilities, and methods for detecting security flaws in real-world environments.
