On 02 March 2022, Computer Institute of Rania paid a visit to TIU Sulaimani campus. They were welcomed cordially by the University staff.
The aim of the event was to let the students visit TIU, and become acquainted with campus life.
First, the event started with presenting a seminar by Ms. Yusra Mohammed, lecturer at IT department about the university achievements like those international certificates and ISO certificates that are awarded to the University in previous and recent years. And also, the departments were explained and introduced to the students.
Then the lecturers of the institute were welcomed by Dr.Dogan Ozdemir, president of TIU Sulaimani branch, and also there was a short meeting about research in academic life and affiliation process in TIU.
Visiting universities will allow students to ask questions, meet other prospective students and understand the university on a deeper level.
TIU frequently arranges these types of events by going to the schools and institutes or by inviting them to the campus in order to strengthen relationships with institutes and schools’ principals.
