On November.10.2021 Tishk International University/ Sulaimani has organized an event called (Call to Earth Day), which is a CNN initiative dedicated to conservation, environmentalism and sustainability. The event was an international event that a lot of countries and universities has participated in, so as TIU.
The main concept and aim of the event were to shed light on, and express the impact of human on nature and environment, which will also have a great impact on humans again, especially health issues. In the event all the works was presented in four main categories, which were:
- Photography.
- Poster.
- Free-hand drawing.
- Calligraphy.
So, TIU students work was exhibited, which had unique and original concepts, presented in different ways, in order to achieve main goal of the event in giving awareness about the damage that we, as humans, have given to the nature.
