In collaboration with Coventry University, the Architecture Department at Tishk International University (TIU) proudly hosted the international workshop “Building the Future: Innovations in Sustainable Construction and Architecture.” This dynamic event brought together students, academics, and industry professionals to exchange knowledge and explore cutting-edge strategies for designing and building a more sustainable future.

Insights from Keynote Speaker and Experts

We were honored to welcome keynote speaker Dr. Araz Agha, Associate Professor at Coventry University, BREEAM Assessor, Passive House expert, and Programme Leader of the Kazakhstan Architecture and Engineering Programme since 2020. Dr. Agha shared expert insights into modern construction methods and passive design, drawing from his extensive experience in both academia and professional practice.

Special thanks also go to Ms. Soma Haddad, former lecturer at Coventry University, current lecturer at TIU, BREEAM Assessor, member of CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers), and a Chartered Architect with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). Her valuable contributions and commitment to promoting sustainability and innovation in architectural education and practice are deeply appreciated.
