Sulaimani, Iraq – The Computer Engineering and Information Technology Departments at Tishk International University (TIU) proudly showcased 12 innovative student projects during the National Workshop on AI & IoT for Smart Cities, held on May 5, 2025. Supervised by Eng. Belan Bapir, these projects represent the creative efforts and technical skills of our talented students in tackling real-world challenges.
Innovations in Smart Technology
Each project demonstrated practical applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and embedded systems. The exhibition focused on key areas such as smart homes, automation, and AI-driven solutions, highlighting the role of technology in advancing smart city initiatives and digital transformation across the Kurdistan Region.
