Civil Engineering Students Visit Mayorca City Site
The Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University-Sulaimani (TIUS) organized a site visit to Mayorca City in Sulaimani for students, providing them an opportunity to visit the site laboratory and the compound’s construction site. Mr. Diyari Mohammed, the Lab Administrator accompanied the students.
The purpose of the site visit was to introduce the students to the construction stages and the use of different types of materials during construction. The students were also able to see the different types of equipment that are used on a construction site.
The students learned about the construction stages and material testing in the lab. They were also impressed with the size and scale of the construction site.
