The Departments of Computer Engineering and Information Technology organized a National Workshop on Advances in Artificial Intelligence – Bridging Theory and Practice on December 18, 2025, at the Conference Hall of Tishk International University.
The workshop aimed to explore recent developments in artificial intelligence and highlight its impact on media and education. Assistant Professor Dr. Barham Khalid Ahmed from the University of Sulaimani delivered a session on the impact of AI on media and the importance of media literacy. Dr. Rebwar Khalid Hamad from Erbil Polytechnic University followed with a presentation on enhancing learning through artificial intelligence.
Faculty members ,Students and academic staff participated in the event. Through expert-led presentations and interactive discussions, attendees gained valuable insights into the responsible and effective use of artificial intelligence. The workshop emphasized the importance of bridging theoretical knowledge with practical applications of AI in academic and educational contexts.
