Sulaimani, Iraq – A dedicated team of Computer Engineering and IT students from Tishk International University – Sulaimani (TIUS) successfully held a community project seminar on Electronic Waste (E-Waste) for students at Salahaddin Ayyubi Boys’ High School on April 30, 2025. The seminar was part of the university’s commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
Seminar Highlights and Purpose
The seminar aimed to raise awareness among the high school students about the growing dangers of e-waste and the importance of responsible recycling and disposal of electronic devices. Through an engaging presentation, the TIUS students explained how discarded electronics can harm the environment if not handled properly.
Following the informative presentation, the team organized a fun and interactive Q&A session focused on technology and innovation. The high school students participated enthusiastically, and their active engagement was rewarded with small gifts.
