On February 18, 2025, second-year students from the IT and Computer Engineering departments at Tishk International University, accompanied by their lecturer, participated in the Cyber Security Forum 2025 in Sulaymaniyah. The event, hosted by the University of Sulaimani in collaboration with IQ Group and Suli Cybercon, provided an excellent opportunity for our students to engage with cybersecurity professionals, attend insightful sessions, and observe high-level discussions on digital security challenges.
Bridging Academia with Industry
The forum also featured a Capture the Flag (CTF) competition, where participants showcased their practical skills in ethical hacking and cyber defense. TIU remains committed to exposing students to real-world technological advancements, and this visit was a valuable experience in expanding their knowledge of cybersecurity trends and practices.
