Garden City Site Trip

On Tuesday, March 1^st  2022 Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University Sulaimani (TIUS) organized a scientific trip to Garden City. The aim of the visit was to introduce the students to different construction practices, stages, and materials that are used for different types of buildings and at different stages of construction.

 The trip was supervised by Mr. Shallaw Abdulla and site supervisors from the project. During the Trip different stages of construction of the building was explained including foundation, reinforcement detailing of different structures such us columns, Piles and Shear walls. Students were exposed to different structure that have been built in the project. The trip was attended by the Second and Third grade students from Civil Engineering Department at TIUS.
