TIUS Hosts First-Ever International SCOME Camp

Tishk International University - Sulaimani had the honour of hosting the first-ever international SCOME Camp from September 5th to 8th, 2024. Organized by the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA)-Kurdistan, this event welcomed 30 participants, including 10 from Kurdistan, 18 from Iraq, and 2 from Poland, for intensive training in TMET, SAW, and TNT. Tishk International University Sulaimani hosted the Zagros Camp Sub-Regional Training (SRT) from August 16th to 19th, 2024, organized by the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA)-Kurdistan. Developing the Next Generation of Trainers The event gathered 59 participants, including 17 from Kurdistan and 42 from Iraq, for workshops on TNT, TPHT, and TSRHRT, delivered by 11 certified IFMSA trainers. The camp aimed to certify participants as international trainers, enabling them to train others worldwide.
