In May 2025, the Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology at Tishk International University – Sulaimani organized a community project to support the treatment of child patients at Hiwa Hospital. Civil Engineering Department Organizes Social Community Project to Support Children with Cancer

Hiwa Hospital, February 4, 2025 – In alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Civil Engineering Department organized a social community project on World Cancer Day to support children affected by cancer. Through this initiative, 90 gifts were distributed to 90 children receiving treatment at Hiwa Hospital, aiming to enhance their well-being and provide emotional support.
