On 01 Dec 2021, Tishk International University Sulaimani - in cooperation with Cihan University - sulaimani organized a workshop entitled “Examination and Classification of Damaged Structures, and the Methods of their Solution”. On 19 Oct 2021, Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University Sulaimani (TIUS) organized a scientific trip to Sharey Baban Project also known as (100 m). The trip aimed to introduce the construction steps of flexible pavement road construction including different engineering works during the construction. The trip was supervised by Mr. Shallaw and Mr. Adham. On May 10th, 2021, Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIUS) organized a Poster Presentation event for the 2nd grade students. Different topics were presented by the students in group. The event included both presentation and practical projects which have been prepared by the students themselves. The event aimed to provide the students information about hydraulic structures and their applications. The Event was supervised by Mr. Kaywan Othman and attended by the students and staffs in Civil Engineering Department.

On 19 May 2021, Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIUS) organized a scientific trip to Sulaimani General Construction Laboratory. The trip aimed to explain the quality control of the asphalt products that are used in the roadways in Sulaimani and surrounding areas also to show the procedures of Marshal Mix Design of hot mix asphalt concrete.
