On 19 Oct 2021, Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University Sulaimani (TIUS) organized a scientific trip to Sharey Baban Project also known as (100 m).
The trip aimed to introduce the construction steps of flexible pavement road construction including different engineering works during the construction.
The trip was supervised by Mr. Shallaw and Mr. Adham. During the Trip different stages of highway construction was explained and students have exposed to different structures that are available in the construction and part of the highway system such as culvers and overpasses. And then different test that should be applied on the soil have been explained including the treatment of weak soil during the construction.
The trip was attended by the Third-grade students from Civil Engineering Department at TIU.
