On November 4, 2020, Faculty of Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a scientific trip to Asoy Gash city. The trip aimed to provide the students the knowledge about the general information about building constructions, recent materials used and general information about the design and structures in the city. On 02 November 2020, Faculty of Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a scientific trip to Sotka Dam. The trip aimed to provide the students the knowledge about the structure and design of the damp including the location of the Dam and its structural design detail of the Dam. The trip was supervised by Dr. Kawa Zaidan and he explained all details about the Dam including the structure and design of the Dam. The trip was attended by 12 fourth grade students and research assistants from Faculty of Civil Engineering Department at TIU.

On 31st January 2020 (Hiking Club)of (TIU) under supervision of (Ms. Zrian Ibrahim) arranged a Hiking to (Sara Mountain and Sarmod Village )the participants were  students from (Architecture ,Civil, Business and management ,ELT)departments and teachers, Total Participants were (60)the hike was observed by trained hikers the hiking goal was for getting benefit from fresh air of Kurdistan nature beauty, picturesque scenery ,exploring the great places of Kurdistan region and also calorie burn.

Tishk International University Sulaimani -Architecture students arranged a seminar for their parents on 8th February 2020. The event was arranged and prepared by students with TIU staff supervising; the aim of the seminar was to let the parents see their children’s hardworking and efforts that became an objective project. The seminar started by a speech of Mr.Wrya Sabir which was about appreciating students for their commitments and parents for their understanding and supporting their children, and then followed by a presentation about (Women in Architecture). TIU Sulaimani participated in a charity event which was arranged by Organization of Kurdistan Save the Children with cooperation of Sulaimani Directorate of Health and some other organizations on February 15th, 2020 at Majidi Mall. The purpose of the event was to support those children who infected with childhood cancer disease and to increase the level of education of society about the disease and its symptoms. Our 3rd grade Architecture Engineering Department student, Dastan Hersh Arif sang songs to make the children and participants happy.
