On 25 August 2021,“Best Education Center” from Kirkuk visited the Tishk International University Sulaimani campus. A seminar presented by Professor. Dr. Alpaslan Toker, Dean of Students was held for the visitors to introduce the University and explain the undergraduate and postgraduate programs available. The visitors were also toured around the University and had a chance to see the projects developed by the Architectural students. Tishk International University-Sulaimani participated in an educational exhibition held on September 30th, 2021, at the Titanic Hotel in Sulaimaniyah, Iraq. The purpose of the event was to provide prospective students with an opportunity to meet with university representatives. The exhibition aimed to allow students who wish to pursue higher education to develop an understanding of university life and the undergraduate programs available. High school applicants had a great chance to gather and discuss their higher education journey with professional academicians and University staff members. On June 5th, 2021, the Civil Engineering Department of Tishk International University Sulaimani (TIU) organized a scientific trip to one of the largest brick factories in the region, Aso Brick Factory. The aim of the visit was to introduce the students to the stages of the brick manufacturing process and to identify the types of bricks used for different purposes in construction. The stages that constitute the manufacturing of bricks were explained to the students, including the types of soil used and the tests applied on the soil. Tishk International University Sulaimani held a graduation photoshoot ceremony for the Departments of Architecture and Civil Engineering for the academic year 2020-2021. The ceremony was held in the presence of lecturers and students’ families, on the 27th May, 2021. On May 10th, 2021, the Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIUS) organized a Poster Presentation event for the 2nd grade students. Different topics were presented by the students each group. The event displayed the projects that have been prepared by the students, aiming to provide information about hydraulic structures and their applications. The Event was supervised by Mr. Kaywan Othman and attended by Civil Engineering Departmental staff and students.

The Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIUS) organized a scientific trip to Sulaimani General Construction Laboratory on May 19th, 2021. The trip was supervised by Mr. Ilham Ibrahim and attended by 4th grade Civil Engineering Department students at TIUS.
