Phoenix Refinery Scientific Trip On April 12th 2023, the Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University-Sulaimani (TIUS) organized a scientific trip for forth-grade students to Phoenix Refinery in Arbat: an international factory for bitumen production. The objective of the trip was to present to students the procedure of bitumen production and explain the tests that are conducted as part of the quality control process of the bitumen.
