Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University-Sulaimani (TIUS)  is going to organize an Earthquake Resistance Building Competition on 22/4/2021. The aim of the competition is to explore earthquake hazards and damage to buildings by constructing a model building and subjecting the buildings to the ground vibration (shaking similar to earthquake vibrations) on a small shake table. Undergraduate students from engineering disciplines can participate in this competition.
