Business and Management Department of TIU Sulaymaniyah has organized a 3-week training course on Physiognomy and Enneagram for the lecturers and students. The aim of the training is to improve the managerial and communication skills of the participants. The first session of the seminar has been presented by Asc. Prf. Dr. Ahmet Demir at the Suli-campus and will continue on the coming Thursdays (2nd December and 9th December).

On November.10.2021 Tishk International University/ Sulaimani has organized an event called (Call to Earth Day), which is a CNN initiative dedicated to conservation, environmentalism and sustainability. The event was an international event that a lot of countries and universities has participated in, so as TIU. The main concept and aim of the event were to shed light on, and express the impact of human on nature and environment, which will also have a great impact on humans again, especially health issues. On November 16th, 4th grade students from TIU Sulaymaniyah's Business and Management department scheduled a meeting with the governor of the Sulaymaniyah province. Dr. Haval, the governor, has spoken to students on the significance of public service. In addition, Dr. Taylan, the head of the business and management department, attended the meeting and discussed the department's vision. Every semester, the department encourages students to make real market projects. Students compare theoretical knowledge with the actual circulation of theories in the market as part of these projects. TIU Sulaimani ELT students embarked on a venture to gain practical knowledge in English language teaching. The second-and third-year ELT students, led by Dr. Alpaslan Toker, visited the primary school section of U.S. Colleges at Kani Kurda. Students received a warm welcome from the administrative staff of the school. They had the chance to observe an English class in a session taught by the class teacher, Mr. Mitat Karpuz. The aim of the visit was to collect information about the HR policies of the university to improve lecturer motivation and performance in the higher education system. The purpose of the trip was to gather useful information on hotel management. Ms. Buka, the hotel manager, informed the students about the organization's HR processes and culture.
