TIU ELT students continued their school visits as part of their quest for practical knowledge. They visited US Colleges at Qaiwan Heights on December 08, 12, 2021. A group of students, consisting of 13 members, together with Dr. Alpaslan, arrived at the school premises and were warmly welcomed by the principal and teaching staff. Dec 06th, 2021, Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University Sulaimani (TIUS) organized a scientific trip to Miran City. The aim of the trip was to introduce the students' methods and techniques of construction in Miran City and different building materials and admixtures that are in use in the construction site. On Tuesday, the TIU Business and Management department of Sulaymaniyah held a collaborative workshop with Work Well Institute (07-12-2021). Dr. Hariem Abdullah and Mr. Bzhar Nasreddeen from the Business department arranged and supervised the workshop. The workshop's goal was to introduce the most recent innovations in the accounting profession. Three sessions of the workshop were held at the Work Well Institute's Bakhtiari branch. Lecturers, TIU-Suli 2nd and 3rd grade students, and the institute's personnel all took part in the event. On 01 Dec 2021, Tishk International University Sulaimani - in cooperation with Cihan University - sulaimani organized a workshop entitled “Examination and Classification of Damaged Structures, and the Methods of their Solution”. The tendering procedure under the light of the new applied rules in KRG: A seminar for the 5th grade of Architectural students On December 2nd, 2021, Tishk International University-Sulaimani, Faculty of Engineering, Architecture Engineering Department has organized a seminar on “Tendering procedure under the light of the new applied rules in KRG” for the architectural students of the 5th grade. The students of ELT Department at TIU Slemani embarked on a journey to visit the city of Halabja on December 01, 2021 Wednesday. Upon their arrival in the city, the students first visited U.S. Colleges in Halabja branches with the aim of conducting classroom observations. Students of the second year, Architecture Engineering department at Tishk International University-Sulaimnai, have made their final presentation of the “Art Gallery Project” on Sunday, November 7th, 2021. The project was the endeavor of nearly a month of working by the students with the guidance of the lecturers. And it was a small project of a symbolic nature rather than being functional in architecture, because the aim of the project was to warm up the students at their new semester of studying and preparing for their next project which will be a “villa project”.
