Tishk International University, Faculty of Engineering, Architectural Engineering Department organized a scientific trip for first stage students to Goyzha Mountain in Sulaimani on Sunday, May 15, 2022. In the architecture department, 1st-grade students start designing by making compositions without much of the design criteria to help them practice their imagination. Business and Management Department of TIU-Sulaymaniyah has completed the evaluation of the graduation projects of the Business students on the 17th of May, 2022. Approximately, students were working on their projects for 8 months. To the evaluation processes have been supported by the lecturers from the department and 8 professors from 4 different universities. Monday, April 25, 2022, two instructors (Dr. Sardar S. Shareef and Dr. Hozan Latif Rauf), of Tishk International University, architecture Department and Interior Design, participated in evaluating the 5th grade graduation projects of Koya University, Architecture Department. TIU-S instructors were in the committee with Salahaddin University and Koya University. TIU-S appreciates our instructors’ efforts in this valuable event and wishes the success for the students.

Monday, April 18, 2022, Tishk International University, both departments of Architecture, collaboratively with the Digital Cultural Heritage Center at Sulaimani Polytechnic University and Nahrein Network, organized a workshop entitled “ XR Technologies for Preserving and Re-Imagining Our Past” in our university’s conference hall. The workshop consisted of four sessions, including: “How VR and AR technologies are changing our world.” Presented by Dr. Rozhen Kamal, Director of DCH Center and Co-Director of our Nahrein Network. TIU Sulaymaniyah’s Business and Management Department hosted a workshop for business students on April 21, 2022. The meeting was supervised by Dr. Hariem Ahmet. The workshop’s central focus was “External Auditing in Practice: The Case of Iraq,” which was presented by Mr. Shwan Arass. The purpose of the event is to help students gain a better understanding of accounting and auditing procedures. The professors also discussed several concrete examples from the Kurdistan Region.
