On October 19th, Tishk International University-Sulaimani (TIUS) hosted a ceremony to celebrate the opening of new campuses. Organized by the Dean of Students, this event was a momentous occasion that brought together the entire university community.
The ceremony commenced with the national anthem, paying tribute to the sacrifices of the people of Kurdistan. Prof. Dr. IDris Hadi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Tishk International University, delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the significance of the new campuses and the university’s commitment to education and growth. Following this, Dr. Haval Abubakr, the Governor of Sulaimani, extended his warm congratulations to the university. His presence at the event emphasized the importance of education and the strong partnership between the university and the local government. The ceremony was further enriched by the enchanting performance of Mr. Bokan Hawrami, who treated the audience to a beautiful concert, featuring melodious songs that resonated with the spirit of the occasion.
