A major effort to foster environmental stewardship and enhance campus sustainability, on June 4, 2026 the Department of Civil Engineering at Tishk International University successfully executed the Pine Tree Planting Project, an initiative aimed at protecting and improving the university environment while raising vital ecological awareness among students. On June 5th, 2021, Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University Sulaimani (TIU) organized a scientific trip to Aso Brick Factory which is one of the important factories for brick manufacturing in the area. On April 25th 2021, Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a scientific trip to Aburinasan City which is one of the big construction projects in the city.
