As part of strengthening collaboration between Tishk International University and the private sector, the Departments of Computer Engineering and Information Technology organized an insightful industrial seminar for its students. The event featured prominent guest speakers from the local tech industry to bridge the gap between academic study and professional practice.
The seminar aimed at enhancing students’ practical understanding of modern software business workflows by exposing them to real-world workplace environments and methodologies. During the session, students had the opportunity to explore the comprehensive pipeline of an IT agency and engage in an informative discussion with the industry experts.
The presentation, titled “TechSaz IT Solution Workflow: From Business Needs to Web-Based Application Development,” was divided into two comprehensive sessions. The first session was delivered by Mr. Bilal N. Rashid (Co-founder of TechSaz), who focused on the agency’s profile, identifying business needs, and navigating the sales processing stage. The second session, led by Dr. Azhi A. Faraj (Co-founder of TechSaz), delved deep into practical web-based application development and the critical nature of after-sales support.
The Departments of Computer Engineering and Information Technology extends its sincere appreciation to TechSaz IT Solution and its co-founders for hosting this engaging educational initiative and supporting experiential learning at TIU.
