The Departments of Computer Engineering and Information Technology at Tishk International University – Sulaimani are pleased to announce an International Workshop titled Decoding Life: The AI Revolution in Bioinformatics and Healthcare, to be held on 7 June 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Conference Hall. In today’s rapidly evolving scientific landscape, Artificial Intelligence is transforming how we understand life itself — from genomics and disease prediction to precision medicine and drug discovery. This workshop will feature two distinguished speakers: Dr. Husen Muhammad Umer from the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), joining us online, and Dr. Bestoon Hussein from the University of York and Lecturer at TIU, who will share cutting-edge research and real-world applications of AI in bioinformatics and healthcare.
