On Tuesday, February 16th, 2021 a scientific trip to (The Grand Mosque in Sulaimani) has been organized by the Architectural Engineering Department of Tishk International University, for the 3rd grade students.
The Architectural Design is a core course in the architecture engineering department, and visiting similar buildings helps students to widen their imagination and understand the projects better, therefore the aim of the trip was to enable the students to have glimpses about the design of a Grand Mosque project.
In the trip, students have been briefed about the main components and departments of the mosque, such as praying hall, ablution area, mihrab, minbar, and education or lecture halls.
