On February 7th, 2021 the Architectural Engineering Department in Tishk International University, have organized a scientific trip to “Qaiwan City” for 3rd grade students.
During the trip, an engineer has been assigned by the administration of the city to accompany and guide the students.
As there were some residential units under construction and has not been completed yet, students had the opportunity to see the construction process on site, such as foundation, column, beam and shear walls which support the loads.
Ventilation, thermal insulation and sound isolation systems and solution used in the project have been explained, as privacy and sound transfer whether horizontally and vertically through the slabs are important factors in any residential project.
