A lecturer in the Department of Architectural Engineering at Tishk International University, Sulaimani (TIU-S), Dr. Sardar Sulaiman Shareef contributed a chapter to the famous book “The Centennial of Paulo Freire”. Prepared and published by “Routledge” publisher as part of the “Taylor & Frances” group. The book, published under the auspices of the “Australasian Philosophy of Society Education”. The book is considered as one of the important books on education based on the ideas of Paulo Freire. Contributed Chapter by Dr. Sardar is ‘A Reconsideration of Architectural Education Based on Freire’s Ideas in Iraqi Kurdistan’. It has focused on applying Freire’s ideas to contemporary design studios in Architectural Engineering departments, where major architectural education courses take place, and highlighting the suppression of students’ voices in some of these departments.
