Dec 06th, 2021, Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University Sulaimani (TIUS) organized a scientific trip to Miran City. The aim of the trip was to introduce the students’ methods and techniques of construction in Miran City and different building materials and admixtures that are in use in the construction site.
The trip was supervised by Dr. Sardar Shareef from civil engineering department.
During the Trip, the students were exposed to different stages of building construction, including foundation reinforcement, column, beam, slab and finishing components were also explained.
The project supervisors provided all the safety measurements required on site to all the participated students. The trip was attended by the Fourth-grade students from Civil Engineering Department at TIUS.
