he Nursing Department students of Tishk International University celebrated International Nurses Day with a special healthcare awareness event held on the TIU-S campus, allowing both students and staff members to benefit from a variety of free medical and educational services throughout the day.
The event showcased the nursing students’ professional skills, talents, and dedication to healthcare and community service. A range of health checkup services were provided, including blood group type testing, blood sugar checks, blood pressure measurement, and BMI assessments.
To make the event more engaging and family-friendly, a special kids’ station was also organized, offering educational and interactive activities for children.
In addition, the nursing students distributed health awareness brochures aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, and general wellbeing among the university community.
The celebration reflected the Nursing Department’s commitment to practical learning, community engagement, and recognizing the essential role nurses play in supporting and improving public health.
