The Nursing Department students of Tishk International University celebrated International Nurses Day with a remarkable healthcare awareness event held at Majdi Mall on 12 May 2026 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The event highlighted the students’ nursing skills, talents, and dedication to serving the community through various health and educational activities. Visitors had the opportunity to receive free health checkups and consultations provided by the nursing students under academic supervision.
The activities included blood group type testing, blood sugar checks, blood pressure measurement, and BMI assessments. A special kids’ station was also organized to engage children in fun and educational healthcare activities.
In addition, the students distributed health awareness brochures to promote healthy lifestyles and educate the public about disease prevention and personal healthcare practices.
The event reflected the commitment of the Nursing Department to community service and healthcare awareness while celebrating the vital role nurses play in improving public health and patient care.
